Christopher Peter Meloni is an American actor, popular for his role in the popular television show 'Law and Order Special Victims Unit. He identified his interest towards acting from his days in college and studied acting in the University of Colorado at Boulder. His television characters have earned him plenty of popularity. He can play two characters, one from the perspective of the police as well as the other. This is what has made him so popular.
