Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn, an American actor from the United States. Her best-known role is Skyler White in the AMC Drama Breaking Bad, for which she received the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 and in 2014 for Outstanding supporting actress in the Drama Series. In addition to playing Martha Bullock and Jean Ward as well, she was a part of The Practice. Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in the year 1968. Her passion for acting in the Preparatory school, before moving to Ohio with her family in mid-70s. Her studies in theatre took place in the theatre department at Northwestern University. A semester was completed in the British American Drama Academy. Anna worked in Chicago's theatre for several years, before trying out for film and TV parts. Anna got her first major role as Arden in the TV show Down the Shore. Down the Shore aired 29 episodes from 1992. Anna continued to be an actor in few TV movies and shows like Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue up to the end of 90's when she was cast in a regular role in the role of Jean Ward in The Practice. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood for two seasons. She also starred as Skyler in Breaking Bad as Skyler, in the year 2008. Sully in addition to Deadwood was a different film that she appeared in. Gunn played a role in the David Schwimmer directed the film Sex With Strangers. She also appeared in the four-part podcast audio drama The Numbered Days series, which released in 2022. Breaking Bad revolves around Walter White's wedding to Skyler. Walter White's personal tale and the tension in the marriage he shares with Skyler are mirrored in the series.
