Alana De La Garza has established herself as a household name in TV. De La Garza, a Mexican American father and an Irish American mother were born in Columbus Ohio on June 26 the 26th of June, 1976. De La Garza soon moved to Texas to study in physical therapy at University of Texas. De La Garza stayed in Texas just a few months prior to moving in Orlando Florida. She took part in a wide range of character roles including local independent films and commercials. She quickly found her passion in the field of acting despite the small roles. She moved into New York and in 2001 she landed her first acting gig on the daytime soap All My Children as Rosa Santos. Through the first half of 2000 the small part she played was appearing on JAG Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. The first time she had a major role in a series was in the 2004 short-lived drama The Mountain. She played Maria Serrano and De La Garza was lucky enough to share the screen with some famous TV actors like Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. She played A.D.A. on Law & Order in 2006. Connie Rubirosa. The actress was featured in 85 episodes. Following a brief period, she was transferred onto Law & Order: LA. This particular character has earned De La Garza several nominations such as Best Supporting Actress - Television by the Imagen Foundation Awards and even several ALMA Award noms. In 2008, she was awarded the Impact Award for Outstanding Performance in a Dramatic Television Series from the National Hispanic Media Coalition. De La Garza was then selected as a regular actor in CSI Miami. She performed the role of Marisol Deko, the spouse of the actor David Caruso's Horatio. She played Dr. Lena Solis, she was last seen in NBC's dark comedy Do No Harm. After two episodes the series was cancelled. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. The younger brother Cory has a ten year old brother who is younger than her. The family she was raised in was a religious and conservative family. Milano's career began at age seven after her child's sitter brought her to an audition. Out of more than a thousand applicants her name was picked to be one of only four. Milano appeared in commercials for television and on off-Broadway plays, among them the very first American musical adaptation of Jane Eyre.
